1995 – 2000

I met my husband & lived abroad in Rome, Italy

RPI was a place of many firsts for me. In addition to making many life-long friends, it has been a place that I look fondly on as the starting point of my adult life. I spent a lot of of time in the Greene Building and it gave me the experience of being a young architect in a design studio. Living abroad in Rome, Italy for 4 months was an experience I will never forget. We saw so many interesting sights and cooked so many new dishes (not only Italian) but Cambodian and Indian! I really learned how to cook in Rome, which really unexpected. In addition, I also met my husband in 1996 in my sophomore year at RPI, he was an engineer and we are now married over 22 years. RPI has held many wonderful memories for me.
