Inspiring RPI Professor

I first went to RPI as a part-time student while working at GE. I got to know Professsor Erhard Krempl right away. He was everything that I looked for in a teacher/mentor. He was a world-class researcher, a very clear communicator, a gracious educator, and just a very fine person. I ended up getting my Ph.D. under his guidance. I am very glad that I did! Professor Krempl was a role model for me and for many others. He personified the best of RPI. I am very pleased to say that I see many like him in the RPI team today.
