First Kentucky Couple to Earn RPI PhD's

Nancy wrote her thesis on the Bulk Morphology of Polyethylene Terephthalate. Dick wrote his on the Dielectric Properties of Polyvinyl Acetate Polyvinyl Alcohol Copolymers. Nancy's advisor was David Hansen and Dick's was Sanford Sternstein. We started our research in the Ricketts building and moved to the Interdisciplinary Materials Building. We lived in married student housing Rensselaerswyck.
